The Islamic Art Network currently consists of:
Comité Bulletins
The complete collection of
the Bulletins of the Comité de Conservation des Monuments de l'Art
Arabe in French and Arabic. The Bulletins are a standard resource for
the study of the Islamic architecture of Cairo as they describe the restoration
work on all its Islamic monuments between 1882 - 1953. They include
photographs, drawings, and plans of buildings that have disappeared and of
others distorted by later restoration work. For this reason they are
invaluable. They also have full descriptions of these monuments and their
historical backgrounds.
